When an ISBN with hyphens is used to search, automatically remove hyphens

In ISBNs hyphens are often used (for example 978-981-19-7160-0). To be able to search by ISBN I have to remove the hyphens manually. With hyphens the result is 'No results were found'. It would be great if the hyphens were removed automatically (especially when selecting the ISBN as search field).

    Thank you for explaining the current workarounds. However, this does seem to indicate it should be possible with other types of searches - mainly keyword. It's a shame its been over a year since this was suggested and there has been no movement.

    Thank you for this idea! While we are considering this idea to make future improvements in the user experience, there are some existing options for searching hyphenated ISBNs in our platforms we wanted to share:

    1. In GOBI - Basic search using ISBN and Any Words

    2. EBSCOhost Collection Manager (ECM) - ISBN search instead of Keyword search
